DON BALDERAS

I am a proud graduate of public schools from elementary to post graduate schools: La Purisima Elementary School in Bula, Camarines Sur, and the Bicol College of Arts and Trades for my high school, college. and master's degree.

I spent my first taste of public service as a government employee at the Provincial Development Communications Office of the Province of Camarines Sur in 1991 until I was hired as a Public School Teacher in August 1992 after hurdling the Professional Board Examinations for Teachers (PBET).

I served my first three and a half years of teaching at Coguit National High School in Balatan, Camarines Sur and transferred to Palsong National High School, Bula, Camarines Sur in 1995 to become a School Paper Adviser of The Palsong Point and Ang Panan-aw for almost ten years. Both papers have gained regional and national awards for more than five years from 1999 to 2005.

On March 2005, I was designated Teacher In-Charge of Pambuhan National High School, Garchitorena, Camarines Sur and was transferred to Pili National High School, now Presentacion National High School of Presentacion, Camarines Sur on July 2006 as officer in-charge of the Principal's Office after a short sojourn of one year.

On August 2009, my third assignment came and got nearer to my residence. I served as school head of Tambo National High School, Buhi, Camarines Sur until August 2011 and as Division Coordinator in Values Education.

Starting September 2011, I transferred work assignment at the National Educators Academy of the Philippines, Department of Education, Regional Office in Legaspi City as team leader of the Succession Planning and Programming service area.
